These Terms & Conditions govern your use of FlatStack Pickup LLC's website and services. By booking a pickup or using this site, you agree to these terms.

Services
FlatStack Pickup provides cardboard breakdown and haul-away services in designated service areas. Where available, we may also offer optional e-waste pickup priced by weight at pickup. We reserve the right to decline service where conditions are unsafe or outside our normal scope, as outlined in our Service Rules & Restrictions. Standard pickups are designed around a reasonable weight and volume limit (approximately the volume of a 96-gallon municipal recycling cart), and additional volume may be billed as Overflow in accordance with those rules. Where pickups require extra in-building work (for example, carrying materials up or down stairs or through an apartment building), an access-based adjustment may be applied as described at booking and in our service rules.
Scheduling & rescheduling
When you book a pickup, you choose an available date and time window. We may adjust your window for routing efficiency and will notify you by SMS or email where possible. You can reschedule within the options shown in our booking or reschedule tools and within any subscription limits described in our Cancellation Policy.
Payments
We use third-party providers (such as Stripe) to process payments. You agree to pay all fees shown at checkout and authorize our payment processor to charge your selected payment method.
One-time pickups (including one-time cardboard pickups and e-waste-only pickups) are charged at the time of booking and are final once booked, subject to our Refund Policy.
Subscription pickups are billed after service is completed. To confirm payment, we may place a temporary pre-authorization on your payment method prior to a scheduled pickup. If a subscription payment fails, we may pause future service until payment information is updated.
E-waste charges, when selected, are based on the e-waste pricing shown during booking and the actual scale weight recorded at pickup (and may be subject to a minimum on e-waste-only bookings, if applicable). Your estimate during booking is used for quoting and authorization only.
Other reasonable on-site adjustments may apply where clearly required by pickup conditions (for example, overflow volume beyond a standard load, or access-related handling when materials are located in an upstairs unit or inside an apartment building). In all cases, charges are based on the prices and service descriptions presented in the booking flow or otherwise communicated to you.
SMS notifications
By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to account-related SMS from FlatStack Pickup, including reminders, receipts, and reschedule links. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. We do not send marketing texts.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and service information.
- Ensure materials are reasonably accessible and safe for pickup, in line with our Service Rules & Restrictions.
- Notify us promptly if you need to change or cancel a scheduled pickup.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Our services are provided on an "as-is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our site or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
